The late lamented Michael Jackson, not to be confused with a certain pop singer, was the Robert Parker of Scotch whisky.

In this, no less than the 7th edition of a libational classic, his magnum opus lives on, ably updated by the much respected Gavin Smith and Dominic Roskrow. For a quarter of a century, this landmark book has been a bible to the trade and drinker alike. Using Parker-style ratings, an alphabetic format and rigorous selection, the result is a one-stop reference, which, like the whiskies it reviews, continues to mature with age.
